The ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27 is now underway, and the race for the final is getting exciting. South Africa started the cycle as the defending champions after beating Australia by five wickets in the 2025 final at Lord’s. The win gave South Africa a major ICC trophy after a long wait.
Nine Test-playing teams are taking part in the fourth WTC cycle. Each team will play six different opponents, with three series at home and three away. The WTC uses Points Percentage (PCT) to rank teams instead of total points. A win gives 12 points, a draw gives four, and a tie gives six.
The top two teams will reach the 2027 WTC Final. The final will take place at The Oval in London from June 9 to 13, 2027. Here is a simple look at each team’s schedule and key opponents.
