1. Dasun Shanaka – 39 balls

Dasun Shanaka has made CPL history with the fastest hundred in CPL history.

With this innings, Shanaka became the first batter in CPL history to score a hundred in fewer than 40 balls.

2. Andre Russell – 40 balls

Andre Russell is one of the biggest hitters in T20 cricket. He has also produced some amazing performances in the CPL.

Russell scored a 40-ball century for the Tallawahs against Trinbago on August 10, 2018.

His century was the fastest in CPL history at that time. He later shared the record with Tim Seifert and Shimron Hetmyer.

Russell also appears twice in the top 10. This shows how often he has produced big-hitting performances in the CPL.

3. Tim Seifert – 40 balls

New Zealand batter Tim Seifert also scored a century in 40 balls.

He achieved the feat for the Kings against the Falcons on August 31, 2025.

Seifert played an attacking innings and scored runs very quickly. His century helped him join the exclusive list of batters with 40-ball hundreds in the CPL.

4. Shimron Hetmyer – 40 balls

Shimron Hetmyer also reached a century in 40 balls.

He achieved the feat against Trinbago on August 31, 2026.

Rahkeem Cornwall also scored a CPL century in 45 balls.

9. Shimron Hetmyer – 47 balls

The CPL fastest century record now belongs to Dasun Shanaka.

His 39-ball century is only one ball faster than the previous 40-ball record. But that one ball has given Shanaka the top spot.
