All Pro Kabaddi League Winners

  • PKL 2014 – Jaipur Pink Panthers

Jaipur Pink Panthers (JPP) became the first team to win the Pro Kabaddi League in 2014. In the inaugural, JPP’s lead raider Maninder Singh scored 137 points and finished at No. 3 in the list. JPP defeated U Mumba (UM) in the final of the PKL 2014 by 35-24.

  • PKL 2015 – U Mumba

U Mumba has gone one step further in the PKL 2015. They were the runners-up in the 2014 edition, but won the final in 2015  to win their first-ever Pro Kabaddi League title. U Mumba won the PKL 2015 final against Bengaluru Bulls (BB) in a close encounter by 36-30. Shabeer Bappu’s Super Raid helped the team clinch the final.

  • PKL 2016 (January) – Patna Pirates

PKL 2016 was the third season, and we have got another new winner in Patna Pirates (PP). Sandeep Narwal finished the season with the second-most tackle points (53). Rohit Kumar of the Patna Pirates became the MVP in  the Pro Kabaddi League 2016 season.

U Mumba failed to defend their title in 2016 and lost the final to PP by 31-28. Pradeep Narwal scored the most season raid points (116) in the season.

  • PKL 2016 (June) – Patna Pirates

Patna Pirates became the first team to win the PKL title twice. They defeated the Jaipur Pink Panthers in the final by 37-29. Pradeep Narwal again rose to the occasion and scored the most raid points (133) in the season. Iranian Fazel Atrachali did the defence job for PP in the season with 45 tackle points.

  • PKL 2017 – Patna Pirates

The Patna Pirates were going through a golden patch during the 2016-17 period. They went on to win the third straight PKL title, this time by defeating Gujarat Giants (GG) one-sidedly in the final by 55-38. Pradeep Narwal again showed his worth and won the MVP of the season. He scored the most raid points (369), most super raids (18), and most super 10s (19) in the Pro Kabaddi League season 5.

  • PKL 2018-19 – Bengaluru Bulls

The Bengaluru-based franchise finally won the Pro Kabaddi League title in season 6, defeating Gujarat Fortunegiants in the final by 38-33. Pawan Sehrawat won the final of the season with 22 points in the final. He became the MVP of the season, with 282 points.

  • PKL 2019 – Bengal Warriors

Bengal Warriors won their first-ever Pro Kabaddi League title in the 2019 edition. They defeated Dabang Delhi KC in a close game by 39-34. Mohammad Esmaeil Nabibakhsh produced a game-winning Super 10 in the Final. Maninder Singh did not play in the final due to injury.

  • PKL 2021-22 – Dabang Delhi KC

Dabang Delhi KC won their first Pro Kabaddi League title in the 2021-22 edition. Patna Pirates, three-time PKL winners, lost the final by just one point. The season 8 final ended by a close margin of 37-36. For the second year in a row, Naveen Kumar won the Most Valuable Player (MVP) after scoring 207 raid points in 17 games.

  • PKL 2022 – Jaipur Pink Panthers

Jaipur Pink Panthers won the Pro Kabaddi League title after almost eight years. They won the PKL 2022 final by 33-29 against Puneri Paltan. A collective team effort helps JPP to clinch their 2nd PKL title. Arjun Deshwal, the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of Season 9, dominated the raiding charts with an impressive 296 raid points. Meanwhile, Jaipur Pink Panthers unearthed a defensive gem in Ankush, who set a new PKL record for the most tackle points (89) by a debutant in a single season.

  • PKL 2023-24 – Puneri Paltan

Puneri Paltan won their first Pro Kabaddi League title in the 10th season. They won the title after defeating Haryana Steelers in the final by 28-25. Aslam Inamdar became the MVP of the season. In its 10th edition, the Pro Kabaddi League reinstated the 12-city caravan format, allowing each of the 12 teams to play on their home turf once again—a first since the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • PKL 2024 – Haryana Steelers

Haryana Steelers have finally gone one step further and won the Pro Kabaddi League title in the 11th edition. They beat Patna Pirates in the final of the PKL 2024 by 32-23 ot clinch their first trophy.  Mohammadreza Shadloui’s all-around show helps the team to win their first-ever PKL title. He also became the MVP of the season. Haryana is the current champion of the Pro Kabaddi League.
